Today while I was going for a walk during my morning break about 10:35am. Generally
I walk up fern towards Publix while walking. As I was walking up the hill near
the Red Cross parking lot I noticed a water leak in the road right on the edge of
the Red Cross parking lot that houses the emergency trailers. I continue on my
walk and am over the hill walking just past Publix when I see a young man who works
for the city and was in a city buggy. At his time I pulled him aside and told him
about this situation near the Red Cross parking lot. After telling the young man;
I figure it may take 3-4 days for somebody to notice or to fix this problem.
Well, I went out for lunch about 12:45pm or there abouts and was pleasantly shocked
that the problem was addressed!! The sidewalk was torn up to make access for the
piping to be shut-off.
I just wanted to say Great Job to the City workers that solved this problem in like
4 hours if not less time. I felt as a regular guy the city does listen and wanted
to praise you from top to bottom. To all involved keep up the great work. It great
to witness the system work in such smooth harmony!!
Go Lois and Staff!!

Great job! It’s good when the system responds promptly. When they suck there are complaints, so when the do well they should be recognized… Good for you Alonzo
