You can virtualize even the most demanding application workloads running on Linux and Windows Servers.<\/p>\n<p>I was looking for a way to run my own VE Virtual Environment and was looking on YouTube and saw a video that explained how one can install\u00a0Proxmox-VE \u00a0on a server\/pc etc.<\/p>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"100%\">System requirements Proxmox VE<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">Recommended<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dual or Quad Socket Server (Quad\/Six\/Hexa Core CPUs\u00b4)<\/li>\n<li>CPU: 64bit (Intel EMT64 or AMD64)<\/li>\n<li>Intel VT\/AMD-V capable CPU\/Mainboard (for KVM Full Virtualization support)<\/li>\n<li>8 GB RAM is good, more is better (grab as much as possible)<\/li>\n<li>Hardware RAID with batteries protected write cache (BBU) or flash protection<\/li>\n<li>Fast hard drives, best results with 15k rpm SAS, Raid10<\/li>\n<li>Two Gbit NIC (for bonding), additional NIC\u00b4s depending on the preferred storage technology and cluster setup<\/li>\n<li>Fencing hardware (only needed for HA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Minimum (for testing)<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>CPU: 64bit (Intel EMT64 or AMD64)<\/li>\n<li>Intel VT\/AMD-V capable CPU\/Mainboard (for KVM Full Virtualization support)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 1 GB RAM<\/li>\n<li>Hard drive<\/li>\n<li>One NIC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Testing Proxmox VE as a VM<\/h6>\n<p>Proxmox VE can be installed as a guest on all common used desktop virtualization solutions.
