Well in this tutorial you will learn how to make some cool effect with your text I called it Twirl Neon Text Effect, hope you will like it:<\/p>\n

– Create a new file 200X100 with a black background
\n– Type your text with white font
\n– Merge down the text layer into the background (hit ctrl+E)<\/p>\n

– Go to Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to 1.2 pixels
\n– Apply solorize effect: Filter >> Stylize >> Solarize.<\/p>\n

– Hit ctrl+shift+L to apply auto levels
\n– Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose “polar to rectangular”
\n– Then apply Filter >> Stylize >> Wind >> from right.<\/p>\n

– Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose “rectangular to polar”
\n– Go to Image >> Adjustments >> Hue\/Satursation check the colorize box to put some color in it as I did<\/p>\n

– Hit ctrl+shift+L to apply auto levels
\n– Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose “polar to rectangular”
\n– Then apply Filter >> Stylize >> Wind >> from left this time.
\n– Go to Filter >> Disort >> Polar coordinates and choose “rectangular to polar”
\n– Use the auto levels + Hue\/Satursation to find exactly what you want !!<\/p>\n

Photoshop Tutorial !<\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n

Well in this quick and quite easy tutorial I will try to show you how to use Dodge tool (and also burn tool) to<\/p>\n

– create new file i chose 175X150
\n– make a new layer
\n– with the rectangular marquee tool make a selection and fill it with a dark shade of gray; I chose #333333<\/p>\n

– grab your dodge tool and set the options as it follows: brush: 65, range: highlights and exposure: 50%
\n– drag your dodge tool onthe middle of the rectangle to lighten it as if it is exposed to light also lighten the top and
\nbottom sides, your shape is no longer plane<\/p>\n

– grab your burn tool and set its options to: brush:65 range: highlights and exposure: 50%
\n– drag your tool through the dark zones in order to darken them more
\n– with the magic wand select the white background (working on the layer that contains your shape)
\n– hit ctrl + shift + alt + I to reverse selection
\n– go to: Select >> Modify >> Smooth… and set the sample radius as 10 px
\n– hit ctrl + shift + alt + I to reverse selection
\n– hit the delete button to clear it<\/p>\n

– this could have been done since the beginning with the first selection but the point here is to have the final shape
\nafter using the dodge and burn tool to make it look more realistic, also now we have to learn how to anti-alias the
\nedges of our shape.
\n– hit ctrl button and then click on the layer containing your shape (selection)
\n– go to the channels palette (Window >> Channels) and click on “save selection as channel” on the bottom of the
\nchannels palette
\n– go to Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to 5 pixels or so.
\n– hit ctrl+shift+L to apply auto levels
\n– use the dodge tool with the same settings and with a smaller brush (17 px for instance) to lighten the edges and
\nthe mid section
\n– now fill your background with black color<\/p>\n
